Temple---one Eastern cultural representative you don't want miss

If you are interested in exotic culture, if you want to see some real Eastern things, temples is one special cultural representative you don't want miss. Buddha temples are particular cultural practice during the thousands of years of Chinese, or Eastern history which includes abundant of the architecture, philosophy, literature and art achievements.

I still remember my experience when I fist time visited a traditional Buddha temple in HeNan province. When I stepped in the palace which located in the central of the front yard, I was astonished, surprised, and shocked. I felt how small I am when I stood in front of the remarkable paintings, poems, and mottoes which created by our ancestors. How intelligent they were to create such precious culture treasures with out computer, transportation, and so many progressive technologies we are relying on. When I was surrounded by all of these, the low but deep ring of the bell, the words read by monks that I didn't understand, and the distinct smell mixed with incense and wood and books, I found out I calming down, and thinking about the history, the Chines, the world, the future, and myself, deep down.

  2. I would love to visit the many types of temples of China, Japan, and India, for both architectural and spiritual reasons. The tile details and intricate dragons(?) on the roof are just beautiful. Great pictures also.
